Youness Bakr founded Mideast Equipment Supply in 2004 and has sold thousands of pieces of heavy equipment all over the world. Having a reputation of honesty and delivering on his word are paramount in his business. His most notable recent experience has been as a Board Member of the Independent Equipment Dealers Associations (IEDA) and as Treasurer from 2013 - 2014. Youness is also the exclusive agent for the Middle East for TEI Rock Drills. Located in Montrose, Colorado, TEI Rock Drills designs and manufactures drilling attachments, limited access drills, and drill rig components.
Sales Manager
Jim Gagain has been in the Heavy Equipment industry for more than 50 years. He began his career as a construction worker/laborer and progressed to an operator working with heavy equipment. He gained valuable experience as the principal of his own drilling and blasting company working in the excavating industry. Over the years Jim built a client network predominantly in southern New England and today has over 1000 domestic and international clients. Jim has sold thousands of machines in his career. He enjoys the hands on personal relationship with clients and has a love of earth moving equipment.
Office Manager/Bookkeeper
Carla Cordi has spent most of her life in office management, working at her family business as a young woman for over 20 years. Currently she is successfully running her own home-based trucking company since 2009. Carla joined Mideast Equipment Supply in 2019 and is loved by her coworkers for her honest, easy-going personality and attention to detail. Her primary responsibility is to oversee all accounting for retail sales and auctions.
Vice President, Business Development
Dan Murphy's specialty is developing and achieving new and additional streams of financial income for companies. He is the Designated Auctioneer for AuctionTime, a division of Machinery Trader, the world's largest publisher of listings of heavy construction equipment. He has experience in a diversity of industries and has worked for Hershey Foods, Merrill Lynch, RJR Nabisco in addition to having been Owner and CEO of a Career Management company. Dan received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Clark University, Worcester, Ma. And completed Post Graduate Studies in International Business at Harvard University, Cambridge, Ma.
